Categories we accept

Cars & Sedans
1995-present

Donated cars are often auctioned off to the highest bidder, providing crucial funds for community resources. If the vehicle is in poor condition, it can be parted out or recycled responsibly.

In San Francisco, many residents upgrade to electric vehicles, leaving older models ready for donation and giving back to the community.

Pickup Trucks
1995-present

Pickup trucks can be sold at auction or repurposed, especially if they’re in good condition. Those that aren't may be stripped for parts or recycled.

Whether used for weekend getaways or hauling renovations, the pickup truck legacy is alive in San Francisco's DIY community.

SUVs & Crossovers
1995-present

SUVs and crossovers often fetch good prices at auction due to their popularity, while non-drivable ones are often marketed for parts.

With family trips to the nearby parks or urban adventures, these vehicles are a staple in San Francisco's vibrant, outdoor-loving families.

Motorcycles
1995-present

Motorcycles may be sold to enthusiasts or repaired for resale. Non-running bikes can be broken down for parts, which can be valuable.

Riding through San Francisco's scenic routes is a dream for many, making motorcycle donations a valued addition to local communities.

RVs & Campers
1995-present

RVs and campers can be resold at auctions, offering great returns, while those in less-than-perfect condition may be refurbished or recycled.

With the allure of the great outdoors, many San Franciscans love to hit the road, making RVs a popular donation item.

Boats
1995-present

Boats often find new owners through auction, while older, non-operational vessels are disassembled for parts or materials.

With access to the stunning Bay, donations of boats are a unique way to contribute to our community while clearing out marinas.

Commercial Vehicles
1995-present

Commercial vehicles are typically auctioned to businesses or converted into personal vehicles. Non-functioning ones may be recycled.

From food trucks to delivery vans, commercial vehicles play a critical role in San Francisco’s bustling economy.

Non-running Vehicles
1995-present

Even if a vehicle won’t start, it can still be valuable. Non-running vehicles are often stripped for parts or recycled in environmentally friendly ways.

In a city bustling with innovation, even a non-running vehicle can make a difference in the community’s support infrastructure.

Condition guide

When considering a vehicle donation, it's important to understand the different classifications of vehicle conditions. Running vehicles are typically resold or auctioned off, providing maximum benefit to community programs. Non-running vehicles can still qualify for donation, as they may be valuable for parts or recycling. Salvage titles are accepted, but the vehicle must still be intact to some degree to ensure it can be processed effectively.

However, if a vehicle has severe damage or a total loss designation, its acceptance may vary. We assess each vehicle on a case-by-case basis to ensure it can be utilized in a way that continues our mission of supporting San Francisco residents. If you're unsure about your vehicle's condition, feel free to reach out for guidance!
